A police jawan was arrested in Jharigaon in Nabarangpur Dist. on rape charge

A police jawan was arrested in Jharigaon in Nabarangpur district, Odisha on rape charge. The victim is studying in Class VIII at the Jharigaon High School.  The jawan was posted in Jharigaon three months ago to take part in the anti-Maoist operations. It's really a very strange thing that Nabarangpur Dist. mainly the Jharigaon belt is now within the clutches of maoist. So Odisha Govt. sent special force there three months ago. If the protector of the land break the rules how can we reduce violence ?

The internal sources says that the boy and girl were meeting on mutual consent. The father caught them, demanded Rs 15 lakh and two acres of land from the guy. It's impossible to pay for a police jawan. So her father lodged the complaint and official action was taken on Thursday after a compromise formula could not be reached between both parties.

The fact will come soon to the limelight.
