India celebrates its 65th Independence Day

"A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to the new…India discovers herself again." - J.L.Nehru

India got its independence from the clutches of British rule on 15th August 1947. It was this day when India’s tricolor flag was unfolded by Pandit Nehru on the Red Fort at Delhi.

Today we are celebrating 65th Independence Day. The significance of the Independence Day in the existence of a nation is of greater value. We can called the day as celebrating the anniversary of India’s free statehood. This is the memorable day when we feel proud as we are free to live as a human being not as a bonded labour.

It's alo the day to remember and give tribute to to the great freedom fghters who gave us freedom "A Beautiful Nation As Bharat".
